The Maison's history begins in 1920 when Russian-born dissident Gregory Salomon immigrates to France and becomes a furrier in Paris. In the 1960s, his son Boris introduces innovative fur techniques, making his creations modern and gaining attention from contemporary fashion designers. This tradition continues with Boris's son, Yves, who establishes his own design studio in the 1980s, collaborating with renowned couturiers like Azzedine Alaïa, Nina Ricci, Thierry Mugler, and Jean Paul Gaultier. Yves also launches his brand, Yves Salomon.

Today, Yves collaborates with his son Thomas, producing designs for top fashion names while simultaneously creating the Army line. Army focuses on cutting-edge outerwear for both women and men, emphasizing creativity in its collections.
